Support Worker for Children and Youth

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at the Saskatoon Tribal Council (STC). As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to children and youth aged 0-11 years who are involved with the Ministry of Social Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical, emotional, and psychological support to children and youth in care
  • Ensure the daily essential needs of children and youth are met
  • Work collaboratively with the Home Supervisor and MSS to provide planning, advocacy, and resources to children and youth
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child and youth

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working with children and youth in care an asset
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
