Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Case Assistant, Child Protection. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Government of Saskatchewan, supporting the well-being and safety of children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the coordination and management of child protection cases, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
  • Collaborate with social workers, community agencies, and other stakeholders to develop and implement case plans.
  • Provide support and guidance to families, promoting their capacity to care for their children and address underlying issues.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of accurate and comprehensive case records.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as social work or child and family studies.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly children and families.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of organization and time management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fluency in an Indigenous language or cultural competency.
  • Experience working in a government or non-profit organization.
