Key Responsibilities
The Pharmacist will be tasked with ensuring safe, effective, and suitable drug therapy while fostering an environment that encourages employee and customer engagement. This role is pivotal in achieving excellence in patient-centered care, customer service, and operational efficiencies.

  • Emphasize clinical services, including medication reviews and disease management
  • Develop and document care plans, ensuring follow-up
  • Administer vaccinations
  • Assess the appropriateness of drug therapies
  • Monitor adherence to medication regimens
  • Gather and document pertinent patient, drug, and disease information
  • Advise on OTC products and vitamins
  • Respond to patient inquiries requiring therapeutic knowledge and clinical evaluation
  • Oversee pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists in executing restricted activities
  • Perform additional duties as necessary
Essential Skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
Qualifications
  • Must be licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
  • Certification to administer medications via injection is essential
  • OAT certification is advantageous
  • Experience with Kroll software is preferred
