We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Shipper-Receiver. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Verification of Incoming Goods: Inspect and confirm that received items match the accompanying invoices or documentation.
- Record Maintenance: Keep an organized internal record-keeping system to track inventory accurately.
- Inventory Management: Document any shortages and reject items that are damaged.
- Storage Coordination: Direct goods to their designated storage locations efficiently.
- Shipping Preparation: Pack items securely for shipment.
- Receiving Duties: Unpack and process incoming goods.
- Labeling: Attach identifying information and shipping instructions to all outgoing shipments.
- Loading and Unloading Oversight: Supervise the loading and unloading processes to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Team Supervision: Oversee the work of material handlers and helpers to maintain productivity.
This position is set in a fast-paced environment that requires a keen attention to detail.
Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role.
- Employment Duration: Permanent position.
- Language Requirement: Proficiency in English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
