Logistics Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Maple Route Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and achieve operational goals.
- Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including inventory management, transportation, and warehousing.
- Plan and coordinate logistics activities, including scheduling, routing, and tracking.
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Prepare and submit reports on logistics performance, including metrics on efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, including maintenance and repair.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff as needed.
- Conduct performance reviews and co-ordinate, assign, and review work.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as required.
- College/CEGEP education.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
