About the Role:

Federated Co-operatives Limited is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Clerk. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our member-owners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work closely with the Manager to maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to merchandising standards and housekeeping standards.
  • Process customer transactions, including bagging purchases and handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Be knowledgeable about products and services, answering customer questions and providing recommendations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve product knowledge and customer service skills.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • Previous retail experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team player attitude.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
