About the Role

Zimmer's Service is seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Process payments via cash, credit/debit cards, and other accepted methods.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the sales floor and cash wrap area.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting productivity and sales targets.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and maintain store displays to ensure a visually appealing shopping environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail experience an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Basic math skills to handle cash and operate the POS system.
