We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to join our team at EllisDon. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our construction projects from pre-construction to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Provide overall construction management, including design, coordination, budget, and schedule in conjunction with the Superintendent.
- Financial Management: Prepare regular, timely, and accurate billings for Owners, and ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings.
- Communication: Meet with Owners and Architects in a professional manner and have the ability to communicate effectively both the concerns and best interests of the company.
- Cost Management: Monitor, interpret, and forecast a project's cost reports ensuring they are in line with the estimate and maintain a positive cash flow.
- Team Leadership: Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team's ongoing development and progression.
- Reporting: Submit project reports to Area Manager and communicate with management about project progress and areas of risk that need to be escalated.
- Minimum of 7 years+ of experience working as a Project Manager in general construction; excavation & shoring, underground utilities, bridges, and structure below grade and at-grade.
- Experience with structural piling or concrete work is an asset.
- Ability to confidently mentor and delegate to a large team while developing and maintaining strong client relations.
- CISD Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain it.
