The Group Liquidity and Global Cash Management division is tasked with overseeing and reporting on liquidity and funding risks for the organization. This encompasses liquidity strategy, stress testing, daily cash oversight, and comprehensive reporting (financial, regulatory, and managerial).

Focus Areas of Liquidity Regulatory Reporting:

  • Regulatory documentation (Liquidity Coverage Ratio, Net Cumulative Cash Flow, Net Stable Funding Ratio, H4 Pledged Collateral Report, OSFI Supplemental Information Return, US FR2052 report),
  • Financial disclosures (Management Discussion and Analysis and financial statement notes),
  • Management insights against internal benchmarks (deposit counterparties, derivative collateral, securities funding transactions), and
  • Forecasting liquidity and funding positions to guide funding strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generating daily, monthly, and quarterly regulatory reports such as LCR, NCCF, NSFR, etc.
  • Creating liquidity-related MD&A and note disclosures.
  • Reconciling liquidity data with independent benchmarks.
  • Developing management reports to track positions against internal limits.
  • Producing segmented/business line reports to inform funds transfer pricing.
  • Conducting functional and user acceptance testing for monthly production releases.
  • Handling other routine and ad hoc tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the banking sector, particularly in treasury, capital markets, or regulatory reporting.
  • Proficient in Python, SQL, VBA, and Power BI.
  • Strong foundation in accounting and financial statement analysis, along with a comprehensive understanding of banking products across various business lines.
  • Prior experience in liquidity management and familiarity with the liquidity regulatory framework is advantageous.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A detail-oriented team player who thrives in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, or CPA are considered an asset.
