**About the Role**

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join Scotiabank's Treasury team as a Senior Liquidity Regulatory Reporting Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality regulatory reports, managing liquidity data, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Produce daily, monthly, and quarterly regulatory reports, including LCR, NCCF, and NSFR reports, to ensure accurate and timely submission to regulatory bodies.
  • Manage liquidity data, including reconciliations and benchmarking, to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including business lines and risk management teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and developments, and implement changes to reporting processes and procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including IT and operations, to ensure smooth implementation of new reporting requirements and systems.
  • Provide training and support to junior team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the banking industry, with a focus on treasury, capital markets, or regulatory reporting.
  • Expert knowledge of Python, SQL, VBA, and Power BI.
  • Strong background in accounting and financial statement analysis, as well as a detailed understanding of banking products across business lines.
  • Prior experience in liquidity management and liquidity regulatory framework is an asset.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • High performance, pragmatic, detail-oriented team player, able to work well in a complex, demanding, and fast-paced environment.
  • Professional qualifications, such as CFA, FRM, or CPA, are an asset.
