Job Title: Residential Caretaker

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Residential Caretaker to join our team at 5562814 Manitoba Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as emptying trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt from hallways, floors, and stairs.
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
  • Make minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Advertise vacancies and contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs, such as painting and drywall repair.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a high level of hygiene.
  • Work with minimal supervision and take initiative to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas during winter months.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a maintenance or caretaking role.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs and perform manual labor tasks.
