Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs; operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and debris; empty trash cans and other waste containers; wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems; contact tradespersons for major repairs; perform minor repairs on appliances.
  • Administrative Tasks: Advertise vacancy; contact contractors for repairs and maintenance; perform safety and security checks; show apartments and offices to prospective tenants.
  • Physical Demands: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures; work with minimal supervision; clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability.
