The Customer Solutions Manager for Engineered and Integrated Solutions will spearhead the Engineered Solutions Segment to increase WEC's CANDU market presence by addressing the needs of operating plants with distinctive and competitive offerings, including solution selection, pricing strategies, responsiveness, and bid quality.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all technical elements of proposals within the EIS product range, encompassing reactor vessels and associated products, primary components, plant upgrades, and life extensions, while coordinating input from Product Management, Project Management, and Delivery as necessary.
  • Calculate costs for each component included in technical proposals, assisting Commercial Sales in achieving required margins at target pricing while ensuring adequate risk protection in execution.
  • Engage with customers to identify evolving needs and generate future demand for OPS.
  • Address urgent customer inquiries for immediate needs, rapidly formulating proposals for necessary solutions in collaboration with Global Markets and Commercial Sales.
  • Compile monthly demand reports based on project pipelines with GOS to ensure appropriate resource allocation.
  • Aggregate projected revenue and margins (with execution financials sourced from project portfolios) for regional leadership.
  • Jointly manage the approval process for releasing WEC intellectual property to external stakeholders (e.g., customers) with GOS.
  • Collaborate with Project Management teams to understand project statuses, informing future customer interactions regarding products and business development.
  • Contribute to OPS product strategy by relaying customer insights from the region to Product Management.
  • Support Commercial Sales and Global Markets with technical expertise throughout the contract negotiation phase.
  • Maintain continuous engagement with customers to better understand their needs and challenges, as well as to receive tender documents, specifications, and requirements.
  • Ensure proposed solutions and projects comply with regulatory standards.
  • Gather cost estimates for materials and other technical information to support bids.

Who You Are:

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role; 10 years is preferred.
  • P.Eng. designation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CSA quality standards (N299, N285, etc.) and CANDU technology.
