Construction Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Inspector to join our team at Arcadis. As a key member of our GTA team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of municipal infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field reviews and inspections to ensure compliance with contract requirements and industry standards.
  • Perform regular site audits to identify potential safety hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Verify the accuracy of as-built information and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Collaborate with contractors and project managers to resolve issues and ensure project progress.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve inspection processes.

Requirements:

  • Civil Engineering Technologist Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of field inspection experience.
  • Successful completion of the MEA/MECP Inspectors Course for the Construction of Sewers and Watermains.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Working experience with MS Office, Windows, and CADD applications.
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License (G Class).
