IBM Computing is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Cloud Pak for Data team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our code and product.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Product Management, Development, and Architecture to understand and guide product features and testing.
- Contribute to the development of new methods for automation in QA.
- Lead, attend, and participate in scrum meetings to understand development features.
- Manage testing environment and test data using various tools such as Jenkins & GIT.
- Execute and update test cases and scenarios. Perform usability, functional, and regression testing.
- Evaluate and test software bug fixes, extensions, and features.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 4+ years of professional experience in Software testing.
- Experience with UI automation frameworks.
- Experience with build, testing, and continuous integration tools.
- Proficient in automation tools like Selenium, Puppeteer, etc.
- Proficient in shell scripting.
- Strong analytics and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Thrive in a self-motivated internal-innovation driven environment.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
While not required, experience with Python, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, REST APIs and REST client like Postman, and familiarity with Openshift and Puppeteer framework would be an asset.
