Job Description

At Standard BioTools, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Supplier Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing and supply chain team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our suppliers and materials, driving process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of supplier facilities and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead supplier qualification and re-qualification efforts to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to suppliers to improve quality and reduce defects.
  • Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering, QA, or supply chain in a technology manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
