Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at I.Ty Inc. as a Network and System Administrator.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure seamless system performance.
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues.
  • Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to safeguard our systems and data.
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations to ensure business continuity.
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, ensuring secure and efficient data transfer.
  • Confer with clients to identify requirements and provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery.
  • Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware, developing policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches.
  • Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on network and system administration.
  • Excellent knowledge of networking software, extranet, intranet, Internet, servers, file management software, security software, and mail server software.
  • Strong understanding of MS Office and MS Windows.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Initiative, organized, and a team player with a client-focused approach.
Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Public transportation available.
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication.
Work Schedule:
  • 32 to 35 hours per week.
