About the Role

CB Canada is seeking a skilled Road Mechanic to join our team. As a Road Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repairs on mobile utility equipment at customer locations. This role requires a strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mobile utility equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Work in a team environment to ensure efficient and effective equipment operation
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime

Requirements

  • Journeymen or apprentice Truck & Transport or Heavy Equipment repair technician
  • Canadian Utility Fleet Mechanic certification is an asset
  • 3-5 Years experience in the utility industry is an asset
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Physical Demands

  • Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more
  • Working indoors and outdoors as required by the job
