We're seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our team in Dartmouth, NS. As a Mechanic, you'll play a critical role in maintaining our diverse fleet of construction equipment, ensuring our customers receive top-notch service and support.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Inspect, service, and maintain a wide range of construction equipment, including earth-moving equipment, compaction equipment, and aerial equipment
* Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment malfunctions, and make required repairs
* Test repaired equipment for proper performance
* Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, maintenance, and work orders
* Adhere to all company Health and Safety Policies

**Requirements:**

* Red Seal Mechanic certification - heavy equipment or truck and transport
* Minimum 1-2 years of mechanical experience, preferably working on various construction equipment
* Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean or satisfactory driver's abstract
* Complete set of tools (or working on building one)
* Willingness to work overtime as required
* Strong understanding of computer applications and diagnostic tools
* Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic pumps, and motors
* Flexibility and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Self-starter with minimal supervision
