Job Title: Human Resources Specialist

Watershed HR Solutions Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our organization, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, and driving business growth through effective HR practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • HR Policy Development: Develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs to support business objectives.
  • Employee Relations: Advise managers and employees on HR policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Recruitment and Selection: Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent, and manage the hiring process from start to finish.
  • HR Systems and Administration: Manage HR systems, including payroll, benefits, and performance management, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Employee Engagement and Development: Oversee employee performance and appraisal programs, provide coaching and training, and develop strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Analyze HR data and metrics to inform business decisions, and prepare reports to support organizational goals.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in HR software and systems.
