About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at NL Health Services. As a valued member of our Resident Care Team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in our long-term care facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, provide personal care, and promote independent living.
  • Work collaboratively with the interprofessional team to meet residents' physical, social, and spiritual needs.
  • Plan and supervise care, within your scope of practice, and provide support and direction to Personal Care Attendants.
  • Monitor resident outcomes, intervene as necessary, and reassess and adjust the plan of care or resident assignment as needed.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing program.
  • Current licensure with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (CLPNNL).
  • Current BLS certification is required.
  • Gerontology experience is preferred.
