Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Chancellor Park is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing services to patients in a nursing home/home for the aged setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of patient assessment and care planning procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families
  • Provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures
  • Monitor patients' progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and consult with appropriate members of healthcare team
Requirements:
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate
Work Environment:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Chancellor Park, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of healthcare professionals. You will be required to work under pressure and have excellent time management skills.
