CASH FOR CARS LTD. is seeking a skilled Handyman/Woman to join our team. As a Handyman/Woman, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Tasks:
- Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
- Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
- Perform minor repairs on appliances.
- Perform safety and security checks.
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
- Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
- Work Terms: Permanent, 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Work Language: English.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. You should also be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
