Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Grocery Store Associate. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe store environment, and assisting with sales and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe store environment by restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and disposing of trash and recyclables.
  • Assist with sales and inventory management by processing transactions, handling customer returns, and reporting inventory discrepancies.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
