Position: Finance Technician

We are on the lookout for a Finance Technician to join our team. This position entails delivering bookkeeping and financial services to our clientele, with the possibility of a flexible work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute notice to reader engagements and corporate tax filings
  • Prepare individual tax submissions
  • Conduct bank and account reconciliations
  • Manage external submissions such as HST, WSIB, and payroll
  • Assist in the development of financial statements and tax documents
  • Detect and rectify discrepancies
  • Engage effectively with clients and team members
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping and finance
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks, Simply Accounting, and TaxPrep
  • Diploma or certification in Accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
