About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team at 2791023 ONTARIO INC. as a key member of our finance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and financial statements, using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Accounting and Financial Reporting: Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and prepare financial reports, including trial balance and statistical reports.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Inventory Control: Utilize inventory control software to manage and track inventory levels.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Access, as well as QuickBooks and Sage Accounting Software.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
