About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team at 2791023 ONTARIO INC. as a key member of our finance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and financial statements, using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Accounting and Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including trial balances, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns for the company, ensuring timely and accurate filing.
  • Inventory Management: Utilize inventory control software to manage and track inventory levels, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Access, as well as QuickBooks and Sage Accounting Software.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong time management and organizational skills.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
