Job Title: Law Clerk

Bukhari Law Professional Corporation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Law Clerk to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Law Clerk will provide administrative support to our lawyers and assist with various tasks related to legal proceedings, document preparation, and client communication.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist lawyers with research, document preparation, and court filings
  • Organize and maintain filing systems, both physical and digital
  • Prepare and edit legal documents, including contracts, wills, and affidavits
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties via phone, email, or in-person
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry, photocopying, and scanning
  • Assist with court proceedings, including preparing trial briefs and taking notes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and case progress
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by lawyers or management
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., law, business, or administration)
  • 1-2 years of experience in a legal or administrative role
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
