Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in sustainable transportation, integrated street designs, and transit enhancement corridors
  • Oversee transportation assessments and designs, including urban corridor evaluations and operational analyses
  • Participate in public engagement processes and community outreach initiatives
  • Provide mentorship and direction to team members facing intricate planning and design issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external consultants
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals for consulting projects
  • Remain updated on industry developments and innovations
  • Act as a representative for Parsons Corporation at industry events and conferences

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Urban Planning and/or Civil Engineering with a specialization in transportation
  • Professional certification as an Engineer or Planner
  • At least 10 years of experience in transportation planning and engineering
  • Proven experience in leading transportation corridor planning and design efforts
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Familiarity with transportation planning and engineering standards and professional organizations
