Accounting Analyst Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Accounting Analyst to join our team at The 401 Group of Companies. As an Accounting Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify all deal paperwork and reported gross profit
  • Post vehicles and recreational vehicles deals
  • Coordinate month-end close with store managers to ensure all deals are received by the month-end cut-off
  • Prepare and reconcile schedules of assigned balance sheet accounts
  • Accounts payable postings, reconciliation, and payments for assigned location
  • Prepare payments for lien payouts
  • Banking runs as required
  • Organize and file financial documents
  • Other accounting responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or Business Administration
  • Minimum of years working experience in an accounting function
  • Currently pursuing a CPA designation is an asset but not required
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Able to work independently and in a team
  • Willing to work in flexible hours
  • Must be detail-oriented
