About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Agent to join our team at Bombardier. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with strategic suppliers worldwide, leading negotiations of complex contractual terms, and developing negotiation business strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers located worldwide from a commercial and contractual standpoint
  • Lead negotiations of complex contractual terms with external suppliers
  • Develop negotiation business strategies
  • Draft contractual agreements in close collaboration with the legal team
  • Prepare business cases and present to procurement management and other stakeholders for approval
  • Ensure contracts are maintained in accordance to our business requirements
  • Support Business Units in the application of contractual remedies against material breaches
  • Coordinate and lead negotiations of any claims with suppliers in support of business unit production issues
  • Track program changes through the management process up to the point of implementation
  • Support, where applicable, the Procurement commodity team in establishing sourcing strategies for the development programs and draft commercial agreements with the suppliers
Requirements
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, in law, in supply chain or equivalent
  • You have five (5) to ten (10) years of relevant experience
  • You have experience in the aerospace industry and/or manufacturing environment and/or program management, in a commercial role, an asset
  • You have excellent negotiation skills and experience in project management
  • You are detail oriented, focused and committed to meeting deadlines
  • You are a strong team player, recognized for your leadership and innovation
  • You have a high proficiency, and are a good communicator, in French and English (written and spoken)
  • You have strong capabilities in operations and financial management
  • You are comfortable with complex technical topics, and have knowledge of legal terminology or interpretation of contracts
  • You are familiar with Just-In-Time purchasing logistic, integrated supply chain and lean manufacturing concepts
  • You can work with MS Project, Word, Excel, Power Point and MS Outlook
  • You possess advanced analytical skills
