Bombardier is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Agent to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with strategic suppliers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute negotiation business strategies to secure the best possible deals with suppliers.
- Lead and participate in the development of commodity strategies, including the preparation of business cases.
- Identify, analyze, and realize cost reduction opportunities to improve the company's bottom line.
- Act as a single interface with suppliers of new business, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Support sites and/or business units with appropriate sourcing strategies to meet their needs.
- Coordinate and lead negotiations of any claims with suppliers in support of business unit production issues.
- Support business units in the application of contractual remedies against material breaches.
- Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to ensure contracts are maintained in accordance with business requirements.
- Support other supply chain agents in their contract negotiations, commercial agreements, and product changes negotiations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, law, supply chain, or equivalent.
- Five to ten years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry, manufacturing environment, or program management.
- Excellent negotiation skills and experience in project management.
- Detail-oriented, focused, and committed to meeting deadlines.
- Strong team player with leadership and innovation skills.
- High proficiency in French and English (written and spoken).
- Strong capabilities in operations and financial management.
- Comfortable with complex technical topics and knowledge of legal terminology or contract interpretation.
- Familiarity with Just-In-Time purchasing logistics, integrated supply chain, and lean manufacturing concepts.
- Proficient in MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
