We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Agent to join our team at Bombardier. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with strategic suppliers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Lead negotiations of complex contractual terms with external suppliers
- Develop negotiation business strategies
- Draft contractual agreements in close collaboration with the legal team
- Prepare business cases and present to procurement management and other stakeholders for approval
- Ensure contracts are maintained in accordance to our business requirements
- Support Business Units in the application of contractual remedies against material breaches
- Coordinate and lead negotiations of any claims with suppliers in support of business unit production issues
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, law, supply chain or equivalent
- Five to ten years of relevant experience
- Experience in the aerospace industry and/or manufacturing environment and/or program management, an asset
- Excellent negotiation skills and experience in project management
- Detail oriented, focused and committed to meeting deadlines
- Strong team player, recognized for leadership and innovation
- High proficiency in French and English (written and spoken)
- Strong capabilities in operations and financial management
- Comfortable with complex technical topics and knowledge of legal terminology or interpretation of contracts
- Familiar with Just-In-Time purchasing logistic, integrated supply chain and lean manufacturing concepts
