Job Title: Senior Claims Technical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Claims Technical Specialist to join our team at Northbridge Financial Corporation.

About the Role:

As a Senior Claims Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support to our claims team, ensuring that claims are handled efficiently and effectively.

You will work closely with our claims team, brokers, and legal counsel to investigate and resolve complex claims, while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and assess complex claims, ensuring accurate and timely resolution
  • Provide technical support to claims team members, ensuring they have the necessary expertise to handle claims effectively
  • Work closely with brokers and legal counsel to resolve claims, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including claims team members, brokers, and legal counsel
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, ensuring that our claims handling processes are aligned with industry standards
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of liability claim handling experience
  • Strong technical skills, including MS Office Suite
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with claims team members, brokers, and legal counsel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
