Production Supervisor – Amico Corporation
Location: Richmond Hill, ON

Amico Corporation is seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to oversee our dynamic manufacturing operations. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily activities of our assembly facility, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the daily functions of the production team.
  • Enhance safety protocols, product quality, and overall productivity.
  • Implement 5S and lean manufacturing methodologies to optimize efficiency while controlling costs.
  • Monitor production metrics and adjust processes to meet targets.
  • Address employee-related matters, including coaching, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the production floor as a visible leader.
  • Effectively allocate resources and adjust staffing as necessary.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Strong mechanical understanding of machinery.
  • Proven experience in team leadership.
  • Familiarity with Wood or Aluminium CNC operations and tooling is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role on the production floor.
  • Certification in 5S or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
  • Knowledge of Ontario Labor Laws and Environmental Health and Safety regulations.
Additional Information:
  • This is a full-time, permanent position.
  • Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.
