Job Summary
As a Manufacturing Operations Technician, you will be responsible for executing all manufacturing activities, including batch manufacturing records, clean-in-place, and steam-in-place processes. You will work in a team environment, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all duties according to SOPs, GMPs, and company policies
- Complete all documentation as per SOPs, GDP, and GMP requirements
- Access Apotex intranet for relevant SOPs, MSDSs, company policies, and procedures
- Notify Production Supervisor of any deviations from procedure, product defects, safety incidents, or non-conformance events
- Recommend amendments to existing SOPs for improvements
- Participate in audits to promote a culture of department compliance
- Participate in incidents or non-conformance investigations to identify and correct root causes
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations/procedures related to safety/quality
Requirements
- Education: Minimum High School diploma
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment; strong mechanical aptitude; ability to facilitate information exchange among team members; strong two-way communication and listening skills; understanding of cGMP and ability to work in accordance with departmental requirements
- Experience: Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing environment executing manufacturing instructions and using automated Clean In Place & Steam In Place systems is preferred
