Position Overview

Climanetics Inc. is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This role involves ensuring the optimal performance of our machinery and equipment through effective maintenance and repair practices.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of College/CEGEP is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
Work Environment
  • Involves machinery installation across various locations.
  • Tasks include maintenance, repair, and machine set-up.
  • Willingness to relocate may be necessary.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical equipment and stationary industrial machinery.
  • Coach and mentor apprentices in maintenance practices.
  • Identify and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in machinery.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to assess work requirements.
  • Construct foundations for machinery and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Repair or replace defective machinery components as needed.
  • Supervise other maintenance personnel to ensure efficient operations.
  • Fabricate necessary parts during maintenance or set-up processes.
  • Estimate costs and materials for maintenance projects.
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment as required.
  • Commission systems and components for operational readiness.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Attention to detail is crucial for quality maintenance work.
  • Must be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Overtime may be required based on operational needs.
