This position is primarily set in a restaurant setting, where the supervisor will manage a team of food service staff.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff engaged in food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff regarding their job responsibilities, as well as sanitation and safety protocols.
- Recruit and hire food service personnel.
- Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
- Maintain accurate records related to stock levels, repairs, sales, and waste management.
The supervisor will oversee a team ranging from 5 to 15 individuals, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.
Required Certifications- First Aid Certificate
- Safe Food Handling Certificate
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Possession of a personal vehicle is advantageous.
- Public transportation options are available.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
