Job Summary

As a Registered Massage Therapist at JW Marriott The Rosseau Muskoka, you will be responsible for providing exceptional massage services to our guests. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Massage Services: Perform massages from our spa menu, following established steps of service and ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Guest Interaction: Analyze guest areas of concern, provide suggestions for stretching or avoiding certain movements, and complete guest medical forms.
  • Room Setup and Sanitation: Ensure room setup requirements are met and sanitation procedures are followed between services and at the end of the shift.
  • Guest Escorting and Tours: Assist in escorting guests to rooms and waiting areas, and conduct tours of the spa as requested.
  • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all safety regulations, ensure a clean and safe working environment, and participate in the health and safety program.
  • Environmental Policies: Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Registered Massage Therapist designation.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a hotel or resort setting is preferred, and at least one year of related work experience is required.
Working Conditions
  • Flexibility: Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical Demands: Required to move, lift, carry, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance, stand, sit, or walk for an extended period, and reach overhead and below the knees.
