As a Registered Massage Therapist at JW Marriott The Rosseau Muskoka, you will be responsible for providing exceptional massage services to our guests. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

• Massage Services: Perform massages from our menu of spa services, following the steps of service outlined in our department training.
• Guest Interaction: Analyze areas of concern for guests and provide suggestions on stretching or avoidance of certain movements in daily activity.
• Room Preparation: Complete guest medical forms, ensuring to add notes to returning guests, and focus on areas of concern.
• Sanitation and Safety: Follow room set-up requirements and ensure sanitation procedures are met between services and at the end of the shift.
• Guest Escorting: Assist in escorting guests to rooms and to waiting areas for other services.
• Tour Services: Conduct tours of the spa for guests as requested.
• Compliance: Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the health and safety program.
• Environmental Policies: Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required.

• Education and Certification: Registered Massage Therapist designation.
• Experience: Previous experience in a hotel or resort setting is preferred. At least one year of related work experience is required.

• Physical Demands: Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Required to move, lift, carry, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance.
• Work Environment: Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, and pulling.
