Position Overview

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary education or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months of relevant experience in procurement or purchasing.
Key Responsibilities
  • Procure a variety of general and specialized equipment, materials, and services.
  • Engage in negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
  • Conduct consultations with suppliers to assess their offerings.
  • Evaluate and compare quotations from various vendors.
  • Establish and manage delivery timelines to ensure timely receipt of goods.
  • Monitor the progress of deliveries and address any issues that arise.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and suppliers to resolve any challenges.
  • Oversee the logistical operations within the organization.
  • Process purchase transactions efficiently.
  • Draft and manage purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, reports, and files.
  • Develop and implement effective purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Negotiate pricing strategies for both purchasing and selling activities.
