Business Development Manager

First National is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating sales and volumes, as well as servicing broker clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with broker clients to increase volumes and portfolio growth.
  • Stay up-to-date on First National's products, services, and technologies, as well as competitor offerings.
  • Communicate the benefits of First National's innovative technology and services to broker clients.
  • Assist in maintaining and improving assigned broker funding ratios.
  • Work with brokers to compile profiles and co-develop business plans.
  • Attend networking events and conferences to build relationships and stay informed about industry trends.
Requirements:
  • University degree preferred, with a focus on sales or business, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in the mortgage industry.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to handle difficult customer situations and maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
