Position Overview

Role Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Operations Leader, you will:

  • Oversee and mentor a team of Production Supervisors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Drive initiatives to meet key performance indicators such as 5S, On-Time Delivery, Direct Labor Costs, and Inventory management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Defects Per Million Units (DPMU), and Scrap reduction.
  • Adjust and monitor production contract metrics in response to efficiency changes.
  • Facilitate SQDCM meetings and support production discussions, including daily operations and overtime management.
  • Implement and uphold Scania's standard operating procedures, quality benchmarks, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate production workflows in partnership with Engineering, Logistics, and Maintenance departments.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of several years of experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing setting.
  • Previous managerial experience is advantageous.
  • A post-secondary degree in a technical discipline.
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge and proficiency across all stages of the manufacturing process.
  • Experience in high-volume electronics manufacturing is preferred.
  • A strong background in problem-solving methodologies.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.

This position operates on the Afternoon shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM). Accommodations may be provided upon request during the hiring process.
