About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Programs to lead our global programs in CNS and ATM systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all Client global projects, managing large, multiple projects, and providing operational insights to ensure the success of our programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Develop and implement a system to evaluate the skill, experience, and professional development needs of all staff; master schedule and budget tracking of multiple projects; and effective escalation from project managers.
  • Team Management: Recruit, hire, and oversee training and orientation of all staff members; cultivate existing relationships with vendors; and develop and implement strategies to maximize synergies among program areas.
  • Project Delivery: Ensure deliverables are being completed within baseline time scales, cost plans, and the expectation of the customer while being aware of net project cash flow.
  • Global Operations: Manage global operations in multiple time zones and third-world cultures; negotiate with in-country partners to ensure delivery of projects on time and on budget.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in a technical or engineering discipline. Master's degree considered an asset.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience with at least five years in a team management role, juggling scarce technical resources across a multidisciplinary, matrix organization.
  • Skills: Demonstrated success developing, evaluating, and delivering medium/large complex multimillion-dollar programs with challenging customers and international environments; experience with project tracking and productivity tools; and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
