As an entrepreneurial-minded organization, we encourage and support individual ideas and strategies. We are currently seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our Service Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections to diagnose issues using test drives and specialized equipment, such as pressure gauges and motor analyzers.
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs, including air and hydraulic brake repairs, warranty procedures, steering and suspension, electrical diagnostics, and more, on medium and heavy-duty trucks.
  • Clean, repair, recondition, and maintain equipment and components to ensure optimal performance.
  • Responsible for getting equipment back up and running in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible.
  • Adhere to Charger safety procedures at all times.

Requirements:

  • Valid Truck & Trailer license is required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clear driving record.
  • Knowledge of truck parts and equipment, as well as truck repairs.
  • Knowledge of DOT/MTO rules and regulations is an asset.
  • Effective problem solver with the ability to understand issues and find solutions in a timely manner.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
