Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial inspections to diagnose problems using test drives and test instruments, such as pressure gauges, motor analyzers, and other equipment as needed
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs, including air and hydraulic brake repairs, warranty procedures, steering and suspension, electrical diagnostics, and more on medium and heavy-duty trucks
  • Clean, repair, recondition, and maintain equipment and components
  • Ensure equipment is returned to service in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible
  • Adhere to Charger safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

  • Valid Truck & Trailer license is required
  • Valid driver's license with a clear driving record
  • Knowledge of truck parts and equipment, as well as truck repairs
  • Knowledge of DOT/MTO rules and regulations is an asset
  • Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to understand issues and find solutions in a timely manner
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
