We are an entrepreneurial-minded organization that fosters a culture of innovation and supports individual growth. We are currently seeking a skilled Apprentice Mechanic to join our Service Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections to diagnose issues using test drives and specialized equipment, such as pressure gauges and motor analyzers.
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs, including air and hydraulic brake repairs, warranty procedures, and electrical diagnostics on medium and heavy-duty trucks.
  • Clean, repair, and maintain equipment and components to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the team to efficiently resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.
  • Adhere to Charger Logistics' safety procedures at all times.

Requirements:

  • Valid Truck & Trailer license is mandatory.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of truck parts and equipment, as well as truck repair techniques.
  • Familiarity with DOT/MTO rules and regulations is an asset.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • High attention to detail and excellent time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
