Position Overview

Collaborate with engineers and project teams to maintain and update engineering drawings using CAD software. Contribute to the creation and upkeep of quality control documents adhering to FortisBC's standards and regulatory requirements. Respond to stakeholder requests for drawing reservations and manage FortisBC's Document Management System.

Ensure all drawings meet industry best practices, regulatory standards, and FortisBC's quality benchmarks. Identify and resolve any issues on engineering drawings. Create engineering shapefiles using ArcGIS and provide support during project closeout phases.

Requirements
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering program or a technologist-level program.
  • Currently participating in a Co-op program.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Experience with CAD applications and ArcGIS.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and AutoCAD.
