Fraser Health Authority is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our Regional Hospital and community-based services. As a senior leader, you will provide strategic direction and oversight for the development, implementation, and assessment of strategies, program/service objectives, and operations that support patient-focused seamless care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide senior leadership and direction for the development, implementation, and assessment of strategies, program/service objectives, and operations that support patient-focused seamless care.
  • Work in conjunction with the Site Medical Director to optimize the use of healthcare resources (capital, financial, and human) that support targeted outcomes.
  • Lead an integrated health services team with a focus at a systems level to maximize resources and outcomes within approved financial mandates.
  • Participate in strategic planning, future visioning, goal setting, and decision-making processes for the Regional Hospital and its partnership across Fraser Health.
  • Represent Fraser Health and the Regional Hospital to the community and ensure other stakeholders are informed and included in community/stakeholder consultations and discussions.
  • Accountable for the annual operating and capital budget for the Regional Hospital and oversee the performance of programs and budget.
  • Establish and maintain ongoing working relationships with Executive Directors of Regional Programs and other leadership roles to ensure smooth transition and integration of services and patients/residents/clients.
Requirements:
  • Supplemented with ten (10) to fifteen (15) years' recent, related progressively senior management experience in a large healthcare organization.
  • Professional/Technical Capabilities: Our hospital and community-based services are delivered by a team of 48,000+ staff, medical staff, and volunteers. We are committed to planetary health and value diversity in the workforce.
