Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Mental Health Professional. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of mental health professionals in the delivery of intensive case management services.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with community agencies and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Conduct assessments and provide counseling services to individuals with serious addictions and mental illness.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to enhance service delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with current theories, technologies, and best practices in mental health and addiction services.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant or a practicing RPN registrant.
  • Minimum of three years of recent related experience in MHSU clinical services and at least 1 year of leadership experience.
  • Valid BC Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of program management principles, leadership skills, and collaborative practice principles.
  • Experience working with individuals with serious addictions and mental illness.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary, interagency team.
